Study and teaching
As a research-intensive faculty, we are committed to providing our students with a demanding and excellent education based on a solid scientific foundation. In the subject sciences as well as in the teacher training programmes, we offer a broad basic education with a wide range of specialisation options.
Support for student success is a particular concern of our faculty. Our students can benefit from a wide range of support services through learning centres and from personal counselling, which is closely adapted to the needs in the respective study phases.
As a faculty, we start even before the decision to study is made and are happy to provide a wealth of information in offers relating to the choice of study. We support the start of studies as the beginning of a new phase of life, because we also develop as a faculty with our students.

The degree programme at our faculty stands for a sound scientific education, innovative teaching concepts and a close connection between theory and practice. Our aim is to support students individually, enable them to think critically and prepare them optimally for responsible tasks in science, business and society. We attach great importance to a personalised study atmosphere, reliable support and continuous development of our study programmes. It is important to me that every student receives the support and guidance they need for personal and professional success.
